The night stood towering up over him, Peering upon the light in twighlights dim. Expectancy filling those lustful eyes, Waiting patiently for the days demise. It starts with a gentle lovers embrace; A tender placed upon his warm face. Passionatly the lights garb slips away, And the features of night are bared to day. The spectral darkening bosom of night, Engorging the day in a grasp to tight. Shadows flowing like the unseen river; Light forcing into her, merely a sliver. At last the efforts of light are finished; Gone over the horizon, diminished. For at the threat of night the day is spent, Finishing her act with lustful intent.
