Vixens and Swains Vixens and swains are interesting creatures. They first came about to signify the "couples" on #Alt.Vampyres, and originally, a vixen could have countless swains, but a swain could only have one vixen. However, now the concept has been stretched to include just about anyone you want to, and you can have as many swains/vixens as you desire! A Swain is a male type person with certain gentleman-like qualities. To have a swain or to be enswained is to say that a particular swain is yours more or less. The same goes for Vixens, except they're females.
